ROUND vs O’SHAUGHNESSY SHAPE
The round bend has a slightly wider gap than the O’Shaughnessy and results in a better and easier setting of the hook, but will open more easily.
Most freshwater applications will use the round bend.
For saltwater or freshwater applications aimed at heavy and powerful fish, think O’Shaughnessy, for greater resistance to opening.
